2 Chicken thighs with drumsticks attached
4-5 Cups Water
2 tbs. parsley
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
3 cloves garlic (minced)
1/2 tsp garlic flakes
3 medium carrots (graded and chopped)
3 stocks celery (sliced)
1 white onion (chopped fine)
Put all the ingredients in a bot and bring to a boil. Turn down the heat and simmer for 1 1/2-2 hour. Can be on all day just keep adding water and turn heat down low. The longer it cooks the better the flavor the broth is going to be. Before serving, remove the chicken from the bone and return to the pot. You can add or subtract to the recipe. It is flexible to your taste.
This was a recipe Jamie made up because we are all sick over here. The best dinner for all the sickies in the house is chicken soup. All in all it was a VERY delicious soup that Jamie got out of her own head. Enjoy!
